Some strange stuff has been happening here, but it is Silent Hill so I guess that isn't too weird! But I don't know, it feels strange. Really cold. I don't know why!! It's not snowing like it usually does during the summer or anything. I dunno guys. :(

![[User Picture]](http://l-userpic.livejournal.com/75020694/666633) [Link] | uuugghhh... I feel asleep yesterday.
Been trying to work on commissions in-between my trying to have a normal life... playing with dogs, watching TV, watching movies... and other things. God it's hard sometimes...
Anyway, food is fun:
Wednesday: Grilled chicken sandwiches with a homemade potato salad with boiled red potatoes petite carrots chopped celery and grilled garlic. This meal put me right to sleep after consuming. Thursday: Mixed fresh ground pepper kosher salt and Old Bay [my favorite~ ♥] with some ground beef [%90/%10] and had burgers - I hate mine with Spinach & Artichoke chips. Yum.
Yuuusshhh... I'm so sleepy right now... But gotta work! ♥

Correction, wrong bacteria.... Okay, the name of the bacteria that attempted to colonize me is serratia marscacens. It is not the other one. I called up to verify.
1. It is usually found in respitory and urinary tract infections.
2. It can develop into something called: Serratia meningitis or something else called Serratia endocarditis
3. If it compounds into a blood infection, it has a 26% mortality rate. That's a bit steep for my comfort. If I get it in my spine or my heart, the drop-dead rate skyrockets.
4. I think gangrene looks better at this point. No wonder they called me in a panic to switch my antibiotics.
5. If you are curious, http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/228495-overview
Oh, and I have purchased probiotics for later. And, no, I can't give it to you. It likes me and it is apparently mine. By the way, you probably already have it on your skin.

Okay, health update I have a wound on my lower left belly. Actually, I have two spots now (the number went up and down). I discovered the wound had gotten completely out of control approximately 4 weeks ago.
It was larger than a half dollar when I showed my sister (Saturday, 4 weeks ago). It was black and infected. I was in trouble. My sister wanted me to go to the ER. I refused. She went with me to the pharmacy and we acquired wound wash, bactracin, and wound dressing. I had some antibiotics I had never taken. I would try to do all the right things for a week and if it did not get better, I would go to see my doctor.
Well, I did not get better at all even by Monday (next, not a week later). My entire left belly was swollen, red, and infected. I was in trouble and I couldn't deny it. And, besides, my sister told my Dad on me and he called. I was screwed. I called my doctor and her nurse made me an appt for the next day. They wanted to see me right away but I was to scared. I needed a day.
So, Tuesday (next day, four weeks ago) I went to the doctor and told her I'd freaked my sister out before I showed her the wound. My doctor got all business like, took off my home-made bandage, and said, "That is not as bad as I expected." Later, I thought of it from her perspective. She knew my sister used to work in Trauma at UofL ER and I said I had freaked her out. lol. My doctor was probably expecting ... gad, I have no idea but it was probably really ugly.
I had a swab to check what kind of infection I had. I had a fever and my blood sugar was through the roof. These were sure signs the infection was serious. My doctor made me an appt to go to the wound clinic the next day.
I went to the wound clinic. I made my Mom go with me. It was horrible and painful. They said things like "debridement." The nurse was nice. The doctor was sweet. By this point, my whole body hurts. I feel bad. It's not good. My blood sugar is really high and my blood pressure - usually pristine - is elevated. The doctor says it is the infection. I am not positive but I think the nurse tells me, later, that it is clostridium. If that is the case, then I have gangrene. clostridium is a fancy word for gangrene. I don't find this all out until my third week - today - of going to the clinic.
Anyway, I take antibiotics. I have to have help changing my dressing. I am in a lot of pain. It constantly feels like someone is pressing a hot coal into my side. I try not to complain. I fail. Miserably. But, I am a good little patient otherwise.
I got a second round of antibiotics today. It was levaquin. I am to take them for seven days in a row. I have only been off the other antibiotics for about four days and it is back to being red and swollen again.
However, in good news, my smaller wound is 66% smaller than when I was first seen at the wound clinic. The larger one is 29% smaller. They know because they line up these stickers beside the wound and take a digital picture and upload it into the computer that uses a special program to determine that X is what percentage of Y smaller. As I understand it.
I have one small victory in all of this. I am allergic to latex and my skin unhappy. The second wound was actually one of four other wounds I got as complications because my wound dressing was ripping off strips of my skin. and then they got infected. WEll, that God for Swedes because they invented this dressing that uses something called "safe-tac" but it costs a bloody fortune. One dresssing costsa bout $50 when all is said and done. The "fabric" of the dressing is a "gel" or "silicone" and the insurance company was like "No WAY are we paying for that. You think we are idiots?" Well, I couldn't figure out what the hell they wer so resistant to paying for this one type of wound dressing. Then, it dawns on me. They think I want this gel "anti-scar" dressing that is completely cosmetic. Doh! I call them and beat them and they are like "welllll, I dunnnno about this." I down load the medical necessary for and take it to my friendly neighborhood wound clinic. She says "They think what? So THAT's why all the insurance companies are dick heads about this dressing." and I go "uh huh" and so now I have a big box of gel dressings in my house. AND, while it may lower the scar, I consider the lack of skin rippage to be far more valuable. Truly, I do.
I have been taking some pictures. I may put some up here at a later date.
Anyway, that's it.

fog I have spent all day in a fog. I feel as if my vocabulary has left me. I don't even know what I want to post here but I feel as if I should communicate with someone.. something...
I honestly don't know exactly how I am feeling.
Things have suddenly changed. It's not something that I think I will adjust to easily. I resent the manner in which the change occurred, but, it wasn't my call.
I feel ... what? I am shocked. Yes. That's it. I am shocked. I have all the right symptoms.
I do keep waiting for someone to tell me it hasn't happened. They haven't so far. Now, I am stuck here in the world-where-it-happened.
All other feelings aside, there's nothing I can do to un-make time. A decision was made in fear and anger that can't be undone. I know I will never see it the same way again. Yeah, yeah.. I have trust issues. So what? That's how I am.
I do know I'm not good at compartmentalizing my life. I can't pretend that this one action only affects one aspect of my life.
So, ten little indians.... how does that song go?
I'm prattling. Sorry about that.

It's like being slashdotted, but with a shovel.
Something I did got Dugg! The latest strip from "Backward Compatible" was the subject of a front-page Digg story today! I hope that brings in some more readers to CrispyGamer, as well as to other websites that shall remain nameless (but whose webmasters are jazzed, nevertheless). I must say I've always lived by the maxim that you can't go wrong with too many references to John Carpenter.
Speaking of movies, it's going to be "movie week" on FFN while I'm off at the San Diego Comic Con (where I hope to catch a glimpse of some spiffy new toasters). I went back and looked for "missing filenames" at IESB.net, and I found a quartet of lost comics. So look for new movie-flavored strips tonight and Friday, and then again next week on Wednesday and Friday! We'll get back to the jury duty right after (I don't think my source of inspiration for the strip is going to go away any time soon).
"Stargate: Universe" is headed for the SighFine channel, and it's got an official website. Apparently, the Ancients were into Steampunk as well. Too bad "Atlantis" missed out on the aesthetic, but it makes me wonder where the starship "Destiny" will fit into the chronology of the Ancients, themselves. The whole SG series has usually been pretty good about continuity, so I'm sure the resident genius on the team will have the history of the vessel up on a computer screen a few minutes after arrival. :)
Even though XKCD warns us, I'm tossing up a TV trope's link: science fiction tropes. I like this site, not just for critical purposes (there are some habits that fiction just needs to let go of), but for the challenge of thinking how to pull off or re-format one of these overused ideas. I may, myself, be guilty of punching out C'thulhu in the near future, but I still think it worked...
And from the "but what will it mean?" files comes the long-running court case over the rights to Superman. In the article it says that DC/Time-Warner will lose the copyright to Supes around the year 2013 and won't be able to exploit the character without licensing it from the estates of Seigel & Schuster. While brainstorming with a friend, we theorized what form the most irritating licensing possibility for Superman could be. Our winner was a license to Dark Horse Comics, where he's made part of their Star Wars universe. In a move that would have both comic and Jedi fans alike reaching for the torches and pitchforks, it would be revealed that Superman's powers come from a rare strain of midichlorians, giving him immense power but mostly only at personal range (aside from the heat vision). We'd also pay homage to "Superman Returns" by making Kal-El the father of Anakin Skywalker. Think about it: Both Lois and Shimi found themselves with children of frightening ability from a mysterious pregnancy they can't remember conceiving.
While composing your death threat for me daring to think such thoughts, here's some more relaxing material:
- Weird Al has a new animated music video for an original song, Skipper Dan. - The D&D Sneaker contest I mentioned a while back has some finalists up for voting. - The Wacom tablet is a staple of digital art, but I never thought it could be converted into a musical instrument. - Red Remover is a deceptively simple puzzle game where you have to eliminate all the red blocks while leaving the green. Good luck on the bonus levels. - "Where the Wild Things Are" is coming to theaters soon, but in 1983, Disney held the rights to the tale and did some test animation using a combination of hand-drawn and CGI. - The following link is from SomethingAwful (so there's a big ol' language and workplace surfing warning), and it's an educational piece on the original Tomb of Horrors. No saving throw, indeed. - Most things about C'thulhu are "wrong." This is no exception. - Another flash puzzler, Demolition City, where you're strategically placing charges to bring down a building's structure. Bonus "looney tunes" points to this game for using drums and cymbals for sound effects. - And now one of many YouTube videos featuring "Inappropriate Soundtracks": Return of the King.

Monday: Also nothing special - baked hot dogs and maple brown sugar beans with Annie's Organic white shell mac'n'cheese with peas. Yum!
Tuesday: Tossed some sliced Sweet Italian Sausage in bread crumbs and sauted, added chopped vidala onion and Snow Pea Pods, and Yellow French String Beans [from my garden], tomato sauce, and some fresh Sweet Basil [also from my garden] tossed with what angel hair pasta. Delicious! ♥

Things that should be said... There are things that should be said but probably will not be said. Many of us have those situations in our lives.
I think that the time has come for me to start saying them. On the other hand, I have some personal issues that demand I start re-evaluating my priorities.
And, well, that is that.

took a version of this quiz b4, but this one is better
| Which American accent do you have? Neutral You're not Northern, Southern, or Western, you`re just plain -American-. Your national identity is more important than your local identity, because you don`t really have a local identity. You might be from the region in that map, which is defined by this kind of accent, but you could easily not be. Or maybe you just moved around a lot growing up.

Stuff First up, books:
Esquire Presents: What It Feels Like: edited by A.J. Jacobs Very short and very riveting. It's a series of quick, 1-2 page personal stories from people that have experienced extraordinary things - including undergoing an exorcism, getting struck by lightning, performing an execution, and winning a Nobel Prize. The stories are not heavily edited for voice (not sure on content or grammar), which is nice, as you get the tiniest feel for the actual author. All of the experiences are things I've never gone through, and the writers did a really wonderful job on description. This is definitely up for a re-read.
It Sucked and Then I Cried: How I Had a Baby, a Breakdown, and a Much Needed Margarita by Heather Armstrong (more commonly known by her web moniker, Dooce) I love Dooce. She has a delightful sarcastic tone that has, at times, made me laugh until I cry. Most of her online updates these days revolve around her children, and despite the fact that child-centric updates don't (and likely never will) resonate with me, I still read everything she posts. That being said, I can't say that I enjoyed the book. It's a rehash and a slight re-edit of her posts just prior to and just post the birth of her first daughter, Leta. When I read them as she posted them, they were extremely heartfelt and meaningful; she wound up in a psychiatric hospital due to Post-Partum Depression. But through all of her public struggles, dealing both with the pitfalls in her own mind and with the trials and tribulations of a brand new daughter, it was always evident how much she loved Leta, and how much work she would do to be the best mother she could. In the book, the articles are juggled a little bit, and the timeframe is a bit confusing. Also, and this may be a product of reading them all at once instead of one post every few days, I didn't get that same sense of love. It felt so much more negative than I think it actually was. And I do appreciate mothers who don't sugarcoat the process; it's HARD, and I think that women who want to have children should know and understand what they're getting themselves into. But that undercurrent of love is what ultimately should make it all worth it, and I just didn't get that impression, exactly, from the book.
Comfortably Numb: How Psychiatry Is Medicating a Nation by Charles Barber A "smart" book, if you will (ie, not a zippy cute fantasy novel ;-) ). I highly recommend this. Barber tracks a ton of statistics, as well as offering up some insightful and valid opinions on the future of psychology. He discusses the use of psychiatric medications, including how much that use has jumped over the past few decades, he offers some numbers on Big Pharma and what role the FDA plays in releasing new medications, how mental illness has been treated throughout the ages, and what is, in fact, actually working. The United States guzzles a TON of Prozac and Xanax and Valium, all for (little-d)depression, which in many cases (and I do speak from experience) is nothing more than a little life dissatisfaction. He makes the case for Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and how it has worked and continues to work so much better than popping a SSRI daily, but therapy takes a lot more WORK than taking a pill. As someone who was prescribed Prozac (under its female-friendly name Sarafem) after a nasty breakup, and who did just fine after a little intensive therapy withOUT Prozac, this book fits in line with what I've experienced and what I've seen. As Barber says and as I of course know, there is (big-d)Depression (and OCD and schizophrenia etc etc), and these disorders do require medication and supervision. But I also think that there are a lot of people who have some general life dissatisfaction about something or other, that need to learn life skills to cope with it. Because that's life. Sometimes you do just have to suck it up :)
I've read more books this year than I have in probably the past 3 years combined!
Maine coming up soon - it is going to be a loooooooooong entry (I have it 3/4 typed up and my fingers are tired!)

Sorry about not talking about the party... it was really... something, I guess. If you know about James and "Mary"...
It got awkward, basically.
Also sorry for not being around much... Harry's been acting a bit strange. Something about things shattering, I'm not sure... I don't know what he's talking about. Dahlia isn't very helpful either, but she never is.
I'll try and post more often, I guess.

I do things First off, are there crafty people who want a box of miscellaneous yarns? I couldn't even begin to tell you what I've got - I used to crochet a teeny tiny bit - but now I have a bunch of balls of various yarns and nothing to do with them. They're probably not uber-high quality or anything but you can have them for free.
Things I need to do tonight:
1) Run I decline. It's hot and I'm a little on the tired side, thank you Miss Opal who decided her humans should be up at 5:30 AM. 2) Update teh elljay with some info about Maine and reviews for the recent books I've finished (all 3 of them) 3) Laundry (hi mom! Yes, I do laundry ALL THE TIME... if Aaron and I would just stop *sweating*, this wouldn't show up so often :) ) 4) Finish unpacking half-empty box into plastic bin, move to basement -- Uuuuuuuuggggggggghhhhhhhhh half empty box has old altar stuff in it. NO clue what to do with it.
5) Put item I want to sell by purse so I can bring it in to work 6) Get measurements of filing cabinet that I want to sell to email to the one person who was interested

Day 734 - Glen Campbell - Southern Nights For those who don't know, I am listing my 10,000 favorite songs in this blog. This will take just under 30 years from start to completion. This blog can be found at Blogger, Livejournal for your convenience.
DAY 734 Glen Campbell - Southern Nights From "Southern Nights" Year: 1977

Okay, normally I can trace these things to a rational explanation, but I can't think of a single reason for why the hell this song decided to infiltrate my head tonight out of nowhere. Admittedly, I'm not complaining, because I am enjoying the song immensely.
I suppose it was going to take a song with a very strong melody to wrestle "Queen Bee" from out of my brain for a while, and "Southern Nights" fits the bill.
More than anything, I'm just surprised that it popped into my head at all. I can't remember the last time I thought about the song before tonight. I'm glad I did, 'though.

Prince Abooboo. This weekend was pretty relaxing and that is always good. Friday night was Video Games Live and it was awesome (the weather was great). They didn't do Myst or BioShock at this show so I was kind of pissed for a bit. But Chrono Trigger/Chrono Cross made up for it ("Scars of Time" was amazing) and the Final Fantasy piano solo too. After that, Nate and I sat in the car in the parking lot for like half an hour waiting for all the cars to sit in traffic on the way out of the lot -- but I got the VGL cd while I was there so we listened to that and it was good. <3
Saturday we pretty much were lazy most of the day. He wanted to watch Aladdin cause we had talked about Disney movies earlier so we ended up doing that and we also went out to a couple stores (thrift store and Jo-Ann's for D*C/costume stuff and Game Parlor cause it's the nerd store and it's awesome and he had never been in it -- we also went to Wegmans because it's magical XD) and picked up dinner. And when I was looking for jewelry cleaner under my sink in the bathroom I found some of those damn silly Biore strips for your nose. I used one just cause I could and Nate was like, "LOL WHAT" -- then I told him he could use one if he really wanted to. That made him more, "...... wait lol what" -- then he used one. He was walking around all, "This is weird. Can I take it off yet? Is it done? It's weird." Kind of wish I had my camera.
For some reason I'm really excited about the Tenel Ka Sith costume. I got all the parts and spraypainted my Poison Ivy boots black (they used to be green - they were originally black then I spraypainted them green and now I've spraypainted them black again). Now I just need to make my asscape, lololol WOO! You know how I am about my asscapes, hehe. But I'm really hoping that the costume will come together like I'm wanting it to. Cause I'm picturing all the outfits in my head and mental image of all the sith together makes me giddy. XD
I watched the last couple episodes of Harper's Island today and it was absolutely great. It was a really good show and I can't wait till it comes out on dvd. The last half hour totally creeped me out ("WE CAN BE HERE TOGETHER FOREVER, JUST LIKE YOU WANTED WOOOO~") ugggh. I loved it. <333
And I'm watching Bridezillas right now and I forgot how crazy these bitches are. D:

Day 733 - Taj Mahal - Queen Bee For those who don't know, I am listing my 10,000 favorite songs in this blog. This will take just under 30 years from start to completion. This blog can be found at Blogger, Livejournal for your convenience.
DAY 733 Taj Mahal - Queen Bee From "Senor Blues" Year: 1997

Today I bought season three of Saturday Night Live on DVD, because I saw the chance to get it for a measly $20. I haven't had the chance to watch anything past the second episode yet, because I was so blown away by this song. I immediately listened to the live performance a second time, and barely got through the rest of the episode before going to the computer to do some research.
The Saturday Night Live performance took place on October 8th, 1977, but it appears that a studio version wasn't recorded until 20 years later in 1997! I have heard many attempts by artists to re-create the sounds of their classic hits, and the results are typically dismal. Those are the kind of songs you find on budget priced compilations that leave you feeling ripped off. This studio recording sounds every bit as vibrant and powerful as the classic live performance that I saw for the first time mere moments ago.
Instant favorite.

And Deadpool IS Green Lantern
If you were hoping that Ryan Reynolds was going to play "The Merc with the Mouth," he's ditching the red tights for green ones with a jewelry accessory. I'll be interested to see how they handle GL's quite long and oft-retconned story in film, and more interested to see if it in any way ties in with the Superman franchise, even though said Kryptonian just made it through another court battle, and Warner Bros. has stated there isn't another Superman film currently in the works.
But touching on my earlier post, "Torchwood" did very well this week. I've still got a few lingering questions about this 5-parter (like, aren't there other branches of Torchwood out there?), and while the problem, conflict, and solution could have been presented in a single hour-long episode (definitely in two), they heightened the dramatic tension and revealed quite a lot about the cast. The miniseries also leaves you wondering what next season will bring, along with perhaps some intervention from the Doctor before Tennant regenerates?
I also caught the season premiere of SyFy's "Eureka." Before I get to that, SyFy wanted to make sure I knew I was watching something different by showing me a music video to the song "Happiness" by "Goldfrapp." It was suitably weird, though they could have used the original video and gotten a bit more genuinely trippy visuals. Anyway, "Eureka" was a decent enough time, and ties up the loose threads from the previous season finale while setting up what might be the beginning of a new arc. I PVR'ed their new offering, "Warehouse 13," and I'm worried it won't be as interesting as I'm hoping. Reviews have been so-so, it has to compete with my love for the incredible SCP Foundation*, and this is "SyFy," which proudly announced the premiere of the original movie, "Sand Serpents."
* My current favorite line of SCP text comes from SCP-804: "No one wants to turn this thing on with the obvious exception of some of our D-Class sociopaths who would respond similarly to a large red button labeled EVERYTHING DIES."
San Diego is fast approaching, and I hope everyone who wanted to go found lodging! I'll be signing at both the Adventure Retail booth and most likely doing a stint at the Wildstorm booth (schedules to be posted somewhere 'round these parts). Granted, I told them that "Alan" was spelled "Aaron" and that "Moore" is just a derivative of the original Gaelic surname "Williams," but it's too late for them to change it. Also, I'm looking forward to securing a pair of light saber chopsticks, though I don't think translucent plastic would endure well after too many stir-fry dishes. Best to stick to sushi, I think.
And speaking of food...
- I'm not the world's biggest sports fan, but I gotta say that our snacking technological superiority owes much to Sunday afternoons. - A Loyola U. professor managed to get a lot of capes ruffled in City of Heroes as part of a cultural behavior project. Anyone ever meet the infamous "Twixt?" - In addition to Star Wars chopsticks, there's a unbelievably detailed Dark Knight action figure. The design of the eyes is intriguing, if not a little creepy. Don't let grandma dust your collectibles... - I love that video game trailers are practically movies in and of themselves nowadays. So even if you only remember the role-playing game (or the C-64 software), there's a new Mechwarrior on the way. - The internet has found its own way to uniquely celebrate the pinnacle of Michael Jackson's appeal: the Eternal Moonwalk. - With MJ gone, a new King of Pop must arise. "Needcoffee.com" had a brilliant candidate: Don Music. Yep, the Muppet. - But now some of the ol' cartoony video game violence with Fragger. Aim and launch your grenades carefully to detonate every target before you run out of explosives. - Last week's post about the revival of "Red Circle Comics" got me thinking about other semi-obscure heroes that could use some revivin'. Everyone can make their own versions of these characters, as they've all fallen into the public domain. You could combine several and form the next "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen." It could happen... - Friday was Nicola Tesla's birthday, and Studio 360 did a pretty amazing show on the guy. As one segment description reads, when describing the reporting of a novelist who fictionalized Tesla, "despite the outlandish biographical details all through the book, there was very little she had to make up." If you're still not tempted to click, the final segment is called "Death Ray." - And we finish with medieval strategy in Archerland. It's a pretty decent "tower defense" game with one really big tower.

Day 732 - Atmosphere - Millie Fell Off the Fire Escape For those who don't know, I am listing my 10,000 favorite songs in this blog. This will take just under 30 years from start to completion. This blog can be found at Blogger, Livejournal for your convenience.
DAY 732 Atmosphere - Millie Fell Off the Fire Escape From "Leak at Will" Year: 2009

Created 18 years after the track that inspired it, "Millie Fell Off the Fire Escape" functions as a fitting sequel to my 731st choice: De La Soul's "Millie Pulled a Pistol on Santa". The original is a powerful, haunting composition that is an example of hip hop storytelling at it's finest.
"Millie Fell Off the Fire Escape" picks the story up where it left off. I won't ruin the details in case you aren't familiar with the story, but I'd say that the bone-chilling vibe remains intact. I thought it was a very nice touch to start with the final lyric from the original fading and echoing.
I sent a Twitter message about this sequel to Pos from De La Soul, and as usual he has proven himself to be a really cool guy. The following response is at LEAST the third genuine response I've recieved from the hip hop legend:
"that was a funny sequel. We were N da rehearsal studio rehearsing millie so 2C da link was bugged out"
How weird and cool is that? De La was rehearsing "Millie Pulled a Pistol on Santa" mere moments before hearing Atmosphere's sequel!
I highly recommend listening to both of these back to back:

Day 731 - De La Soul - Millie Pulled a Pistol on Santa For those who don't know, I am listing my 10,000 favorite songs in this blog. This will take just under 30 years from start to completion. This blog can be found at Blogger, Livejournal for your convenience.
DAY 731 De La Soul - Millie Pulled a Pistol on Santa From "De La Soul is Dead" Year: 1991

My 10th choice from De La Soul, and far from my last one. I enjoy a very large percentage of the group's output.
The title may sound funny, but there's a sad, intense, spine-tingling story within the lyrics. This is hip hop brilliance right here.
I heard "Millie Pulled a Pistol on Santa" long before I heard Funkadelic's "I'll Stay", which is the primary sample used in the track. "I'll Stay" was my 101st choice from this blog.

TGIF almost hur hur Oh snap! Persona PSP video with THE ENGLISH VOICEOVERS! <3 NATE AND MARK'S VOICES ARE SO HOT. WAIT, SORRY I MEAN NANJO AND MASAO LOL. I can't wait to hear Chris Reiji~
I've decided that this weekend I really need to start working on D*C costumes. I don't have much of anything done and I need to sew things and modify things and test hair and makeup and blah blah blah AND THERE'S ONLY 56 DAYS LEFT. Yeah, I guess that seems like a lot now but omg it isn't.
Plus, see_aphy_be and I are trying to put together some sort of game for D*C that's like manhunt/capture the flag with lots of stealth and walkie-talkies or something. WE'RE BRAINSTORMING!!1 Although, here is the big question: How many people going to the con would actually be interested in playing some sort of game like that one night?
And Phillip Chbeeb just did a solo dance to a song off The Fifth Element soundtrack. And it was the Diva Opera song. <333 It was awesome.
Going to Video Games Live tomorrow night. Totally nerding out about it. And I don't know if I should wear my Left 4 Dead shirt, my Dead Rising shirt, my Bioshock shirt, a Silent Hill shirt or what. SUCH DIFFICULT DECISIONS. D: I also apologize in advance if I cry tears of total fangirly joy while there (MYST SONGS, YOU GUYS <3)~
P.S. I want one of these so bad. If I got one it would most likely be the Hunter. SO ADORABLE.

Garlic and sweet basil [from my garden] braised bone-in center cut porkchops with red beans and rice with peas sauteed with sliced marinated artichokes. Yum.
I think I am going to start doing a "sentence for dinner" thing everyday I prepare dinner.
